• Accounts: link /rack* filesystems that do not physically exist on the "master" fileserver so the automated jobs to reactivate accounts will run
• Schedule a 10pm-1am maintenance window for the calendar server which has once again tossed a DB-VISTA 10 error and needs a unidbfix run to clean up the crap
  • Opened Oracle SR 5564690.992 to deal with this -- per request of Jean-Marc of Oracle
• Manually remove an account to finish what the registrar's office started when they discovered two entries for the same student -- both of which had been sent to LDAP and both had accounts generated -- neither account has been used, so I purged the same one that the Registrar's office did.
• Debug why the president is not in the staff and faculty mailing list...
  • the listserv feed script needs to be reworked to deal with reality because the assumption that the primary job would be the first job returned is not true.

  • Lots of reject files -- not all with ok failures...
  • differences in the db from the primary to the replica's
  • slurpd.replog got truncated and slurpd wouldn't run
  • manually fixed the slurpd.replog file
  • let slurpd process remaining changes
  • shutdown ldap on primary and compared slapcats from primary and replicas
  • determined same 26 changes applied to all replicas would get them back in sync
  • applied the changes to all the replicas
  • started ldap on primary
• LDAP Update: a non-authoritative entry from PeopleSoft
  • This time the problem is a difference of opinion with other SOR's about the NID value
  • Contacted the Registrar and Payroll about the difference and asked them to confirm which was correct

• Change default for uvmEduPersonalPrivacy flag from TRUE to FALSE to prevent people who get created by hand and then found by the automated processes from remaining hidden.
• Manually update the 15000+ entries that have uvmEduPersonalPrivacy set to TRUE to make it FALSE now.

• PeopleSoft system corrects an SSN and the new one conflicts with an existing Banner entry. Problem corrected -- duplicate account removed
• Replacement Solaris fixes downloaded to fix the ssh problem on the library system after the June 5 patch cluster was installed
• modify LDAP update scripts to ignore PeopleSoft attempts to modify the uid attribute

• Document the unlock/lock process for coverage during my vacation
• Help a customer with their mail problem -- had created a real "INBOX" mail folder to hold other mail folders and it hid the system INBOX folder
