• RPM: testing out new build styles (--define option to rpmbuild)
• LDAP: Build Net::LDAPapi perl module which uses the C api and is much faster than the all perl Net::LDAP module(s)
• LDAP: replicas out of sync with the RW server with respect to the sendmail spammy access blocking rules. Not certain of the reason. It took forty (40) minutes to determine what needed to be fixed on each of the replica servers and make the updates. Need to start doing a periodic (aka weekly/monthly) check of this

  • openssh does not like the home directory to have group write permissions
• LDAP: Chase why slapd does not start in VMWare
  • runuser works but uldap does not... what???
  • Aha! runuser only works because the test specified the shell. uldap was defaulting to the ldap user's shell (/bin/false) and failing
  • Generate openldap-2.3.33-2.uvm to fix!
• UPS: full Preventative Maintenance 5pm-7:30pm
• LDAP: Upgrade wolverine to openldap 2.3.33-2.uvm and VMWare kernel fix
