LDAP: clean up errors from while I was out
Backup: continues to be problematic. Scheduled full-save's did not start as scheduled over the weekend, they had to be manually started when I discovered the problem Saturday afternoon.
18976574: EMC calls back. I ignored his advice because I just didn't feel he was comprehending what I was saying and found that contrary to what I was told, by changing the old client definition to specify the filesystems instead of All and put both definitions into the same save group, only one bootstrap was created. Issue closed.
18972720: EMC emails -- this is a bug, working to confirm the bug
Sessions that have long ago completed are still listed in the Monitoring->Sessions tab of NMC... related to 19014920?
Groups still cloning and 100% done but no movement...
Give up on EMC ever calling back about 19014920 and open 19036762 because I see that it is aborting inactive jobs and then is waiting for them to complete!
EMC called back and had me abort (stop and then kill -9) the two save groups that were hung. Hopefully, they will work tonight.
Three INCR's that don't clone that are 100% done but not moving forward
Email from EMC indicates the parallelism of the nsrserverhost is used for indexes in 7.3.2 (news to me!)... increase parallelism from 1 to 50 for nsrserverhost
nsrwatch... hmmm have to look that one up
No resolution
19:45-21:45: on-site tape pool ran out of empty tapes, add 20 more
Open 19014920 ... Severity 1 (1 hour call back that takes 1 hour 15 minutes)
Kill -9 all the savegrp's, nsrd, and several nsrmmd's (Ugh!)
reboot ozzie.... it hangs.... NFS problem because of ipf being misconfigured to not allow traffic out the private ethernet interface. EMC thinks this is the problem -- it's not.
two "nsrim -X's" , nsrjb -HEv, nsrjb -Iv .. and we're back in business.... maybe

Check later... seems to be running.... at least NMC is responding and things look ok
Open issue with aborted clones showing up in the Media->Save Set section of NMC. Looks like it might be a bug
Ask PeopleSoft DBA's some questions about the RMAN problems they are having -- prior to opening an issue with EMC about the RMAN saves that are getting stuck
Open issue with EMC about how to merge the nsrserverhost clients that backup most things and the NetWorker Console Database into a single client
Empty off the final Indexes tape volume
