  • Calendar: Routine Maintenance on databases and migration to virtual server in new data center -- completed in three hours of downtime -- virtual server much faster than old physical server was.
  • Backup: Remove ATABeast that is EOSL and storage node that drove it from service
  • FootPrints: analyze the failure of 6. Februar and reach conclusion of what happened.

    • Have spent this week building a VMWare guest to house the current calendar server. Plan is to migrate to the new "server" on February 9.
  • FootPrints
    • Working on a project -- still getting everything working after recreating a project that got created with the wrong address book originally last week. I think I finally got the last of it fixed this morning.
    • Building VMWare Guest to become the footprints server on February 5.
  • LDAP
    • Update ldap_report.pl to ignore barcode conflicts between the old values and current values attributes
    • syncrepl problems -- appear to be related to tcp KEEPALIVE kernel options. Reset them to be 300/5/5 instead of 7200/75/9 and hopefully, we'll not see this particular problem any more.
  • Backup
    • Data movement from the SATABeast to Tape is still rather depressingly slow. Struggling to figure out where the problem lies.
    • COMIS backups are finally working well -- that was a tcp KEEPALIVE issue as well
