  • Otter did a lockup and then I accidentally power cycled it when the power strip switch was labeled backwards and I had forgotten that off was on.

  • Backup: Had to clean three tape drives and label 12 tapes over the weekend. The COMIS Onsite media pool ran out of tapes Saturday morning, so added 12 more. Discovered Sunday morning that tape drives 10-12 were calling for cleaning and NetWorker hadn't taken care of it. Yet another issue to EMC needs to be opened.
  • Calendar: figured out the web interface issue (wrong node defined in the ocas.conf file) and announced the test server to ETS Staff

  • System problems -- Calendar server and Footprints server. Apparently, something went wrong with the VMWare cluster during Tuesday's maintenance. It took all day to track it down. Half the day was spent proving that it wasn't the applications on the VMWare guests.
